Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a contract Occupational Therapist this coming September. Two exciting opportunities are available—one full-time and one part-time position—serving students across Ingham County. You'll make a lasting impact, collaborating with educators and families to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services in a school-based environment. The specific school site will be determined prior to placement, but all assignments are within Ingham County.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Michigan
  • Experience providing OT services to children and adolescents, preferably in educational settings
  • Ability to manage caseloads spanning kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Enthusiasm and adaptability to work across different school sites as assigned

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments, interventions, and therapy plans tailored to student IEPs
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and collaborate on IEP teams
  • Partner with teachers and staff to support student participation and accessibility in the classroom
  • Communicate effectively with families and educational partners about goals and progress
  • Help empower students’ independence, fine motor skills, and participation in daily school life
