Location: UPMC Chautauqua

Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime shifts with no inter-site travel, no on-call duties, and no weekend work!

Our organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist to join our growing Radiology team at UPMC Chautauqua in Jamestown, New York. This is a remarkable opportunity to engage in a wide array of interventional and diagnostic radiology within a supportive and collaborative environment, catering to a diverse regional population.

This position allows you to reside in a stunning, four-season city by the water, known for its affordability and family-friendly atmosphere, with short commutes from various nearby neighborhoods. Chautauqua County is conveniently located under three hours from major cities such as Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Rochester, and Toronto, and is easily accessible from Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and Erie. Facilities: State-of-the-art imaging technology and dedicated interventional radiology suites, along with six pre-procedure and six post-procedure recovery rooms.

Key Responsibilities and Clinical Impact:
  • Assist surgical services through preoperative planning and management of postoperative complications.
  • Provide critical diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for oncology and nephrology patients.
  • Enhance the urology service line by offering surgical support and advocating for minimally invasive procedures.
  • Improve operational efficiencies by optimizing length of stay, clinical outcomes, and complication rates.
Qualifications:
  • MD/DO from an accredited medical institution.
  • American Board Eligible, American Board Certified, or Canadian Board Certified in Interventional Radiology, with strong skills in cross-sectional imaging and a broad range of general radiology procedures.
  • Eligibility to obtain an unrestricted New York Medical License and necessary credentials.
  • DEA certification.
  • A dedication to patient-centered care and excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as we prioritize delivering high-quality care in a compassionate and professional setting.
