Location: Athens, GA

Department: Medical-Surgical 3: General Surgery and Trauma

Schedule: Part-time, Night Shift from 7 PM to 7 AM

Incentives: Sign-on bonus available

Specialty Differential: Med-Surg Specialty Differential offered

Key Responsibilities

As a Staff Nurse, you will be:

• Delivering nursing care to patients across all age groups, from infancy to the end of life.
• Utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Adhering to the organization's policies and procedures while demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
• Maintaining high standards of practice and coordinating care activities among all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Required:
Completion of an accredited nursing program.

Minimum Experience Required:
New graduates from nursing programs are encouraged to apply.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or possess a NLC/eNLC multistate license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

Additional Qualifications:

• For PRN roles: A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• Advanced certification in your specialty area is a plus (refer to addendum).
• Prior nursing experience in a hospital setting is advantageous.
