Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Join a pharmacy leadership role located in Bellefonte, PA, with a focus on managing pharmacy operations, enhancing customer care, and driving business growth. This direct hire opportunity offers a variable schedule with flexible 10 to 12-hour shifts.

Schedule:

  • 10-hour shifts: 9am – 7pm
  • 11-hour shifts: 9am – 8pm
  • 12-hour shifts: 8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm
  • Variable day/afternoon shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the store operations team to drive associate engagement and communicate pharmacy and company strategies.
  • Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
  • Build a profitable pharmacy business by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Manage inventory by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand.
  • Align pharmacy performance with key measurable department metrics to optimize efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with medication-related questions and healthcare counseling.
  • Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline.
  • Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues to foster trust and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with physicians and utilize reference materials to address prescription concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department.
  • Monitor ongoing training and development to enhance staff performance and reduce turnover.
  • Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and processing will-calls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
