Join a pharmacy leadership role located in Bellefonte, PA, with a focus on managing pharmacy operations, enhancing customer care, and driving business growth. This direct hire opportunity offers a variable schedule with flexible 10 to 12-hour shifts.
Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts: 9am – 7pm
- 11-hour shifts: 9am – 8pm
- 12-hour shifts: 8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm
- Variable day/afternoon shifts
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the store operations team to drive associate engagement and communicate pharmacy and company strategies.
- Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
- Build a profitable pharmacy business by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Manage inventory by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand.
- Align pharmacy performance with key measurable department metrics to optimize efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with medication-related questions and healthcare counseling.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline.
- Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues to foster trust and loyalty.
- Collaborate with physicians and utilize reference materials to address prescription concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department.
- Monitor ongoing training and development to enhance staff performance and reduce turnover.
- Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and processing will-calls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
