Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time pharmacist opportunity is available at a retail/outpatient pharmacy situated conveniently in the parking lot of a medical building in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This position offers a temp-to-perm arrangement, providing a pathway to long-term employment.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions accurately to ensure patient safety
- Provide thorough counseling to patients regarding their medications
- Support the daily operations of the retail/outpatient pharmacy efficiently
- Maintain strict compliance with all pharmacy regulations and internal procedures
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active pharmacist license in good standing for the state of West Virginia
- Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Commitment to pursuing a permanent role in pharmacy practice
- Availability to work the specified weekday schedule
