An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services within a unique healthcare environment serving diverse patient populations. This travel assignment offers the chance to gain valuable experience with Indian Health Services (IHS) while working across inpatient and outpatient settings. The 13-week engagement operates on a rotating 7-on/7-off shift schedule, including varied hours to meet patient care needs.

Location: North Las Vegas, NV (travel assignment with work at TCRHCC and satellite clinics in Arizona)

Schedule:

  • 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
  • Workweek: Wednesday to Tuesday
  • Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care to neo-natal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients
  • Support pharmacy operations consistent with established policies and procedures
  • Participate in rotational shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Opportunity for career advancement from Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist tiers
  • Manage specialized pharmacy clinics and perform clinical service analyses to enhance patient care quality
  • Provide technical and administrative supervision to pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and assistants
  • Serve as Clinic Manager of Operations at designated sites, overseeing diverse pharmacy functions

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited institution
  • Current, valid, unrestricted pharmacist license from any U.S. state or territory (no Arizona license required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Pharmacist
  • At least 1 year of clinical pharmacy experience
  • Fingerprinting clearance required before start date
