Pay Range: $47.85 - $71.72 per hour

Position OverviewWe are in search of a committed Registered Nurse to join our Level 1 Trauma Center's Main Operating Room at the New Brunswick campus. The OR Nurse will deliver exceptional patient care within the surgical environment, collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who excels in a dynamic setting and is focused on enhancing surgical outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards as outlined by the ANA code of ethics.
- Maintain safety in practice, incorporating evidence-based principles.
- Report any identified safety concerns, including hazardous conditions and medical errors.
- Understand the specific needs of the patient population served.
- Supervise and guide the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers.
- Set and assess priorities through appropriate interventions aimed at measurable improvements.
- Utilize the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and tailor the care plan to meet individual patient needs.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma.
- At least one year of experience as an OR RN or a recent graduate of a perioperative 101 program.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Active Registered Nurse License in New Jersey.
- Night shift, 40 hours per week, from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
- Availability for weekends, holidays, and on-call duties as required.
- This is a full-time position.
