Practice as a Pediatric Anesthesiologist at UPMC Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh
Job Description
Our organization’s Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is on the lookout for exceptional pediatric anesthesiologists to deliver anesthesia services at our Children’s Hospital. Applicants should be board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology, have completed a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology, and hold or be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.
Position involves pediatric, acute pain, liver transplant, and cardiac care.
Work schedule: Daytime coverage, Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM; and Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
On-call duties: In-house from 5 PM to 7:30 AM; beeper call from 6 PM to 7 AM.
Supervision of CRNAs with a target concurrency of 2:1.
The hospital employs 40 anesthesiologists and 28 CRNAs.
