Job Description
The Department of Psychiatry and Psychology within the Neurological Institute (NI) at Cleveland Clinic has an immediate need to recruit full-time Consultation Liaison (CL) Psychiatrists in Northeast Ohio. Board-certified or board eligibility for the CL subspecialty is required. Experience with virtual consultations to ER and medical surgical floors is highly desired. Niche outpatient follow up bridge clinics will be performed at the respective hospitals, which also serve as teaching sites for our medical students, psychiatry and neurology residents, and consultation liaison fellows.

The Department of Psychiatry and Psychology is a growing department in the
\nNeurological Institute, with 137 clinicians, including 57 psychiatrists, and four service lines of Outpatient Psychiatry, Inpatient Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry / Consultation Psychiatry, and Intensive Outpatient Programs. The department had teamlets of physicians, advanced practice practitioners, and LISWs at key consultation liaison hubs, as well as a growing CL psychology service.
\nWe have a growing Psychiatric Treatment Resistant Program, with advanced therapies such as TMS, DBS, Ketamine, and psychedelics, coupled with a robust ECT program. We are also expanding Geropsychiatry, Neuropsychiatry, and Womens Behavioral Health. With our hospitals in the Cleveland Clinic health system, we are one of the largest inpatient and outpatient psychiatric providers in Northeast Ohio.
\nIn January 2027, the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology will move into a new, state-of-the-art Neurological Institute building, providing a once in a lifetime environment for interdisciplinary clinical work and discovery.
