Job Description
Step into a vital role supporting students’ success and well-being as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract opportunity spans September through the end of the school year, with consistent Monday through Friday hours of 8:00am to 3:00pm, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Work closely with grades 1-8, creating and implementing behavior intervention strategies to help each student reach their potential in a supportive, educational environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Previous experience working with elementary and middle school-aged children strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Solid understanding of data collection, functional behavior assessments, and progress monitoring
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive behavioral assessments and writing individualized behavior intervention programs
- Collaborating with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to ensure consistent implementation of plans
- Supporting students in grades 1-8 with a variety of needs, making adjustments as necessary to foster progress
- Training and coaching staff on behavioral interventions and best practices
- Documenting student progress, maintaining detailed records, and participating in IEP meetings as needed
- Serving as a resource for parent and staff education regarding behavior support
