Pharmacist - Pompano Beach, FL

A children’s hospital located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale is seeking two inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting August 25th. This opportunity offers two distinct shifts:

• Day shift: 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM with rotating weekends (5x8-hour shifts)
• Overnight shift: 11:00 PM to 7:15 AM with rotating weekends (5x8-hour shifts)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Florida pharmacist license in good standing
• Prior pediatric and NICU pharmacy experience strongly preferred (resume should reflect relevant duties)
• Familiarity with inpatient pharmacy responsibilities, including pediatric dosing
• Experience working with Epic electronic medical records system

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy services to inpatient pediatric patients
• Accurately dose medications specific to pediatric and neonatal intensive care needs
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication therapy management
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and order verification
