Beginning in late September and concluding in November, you’ll serve a caseload of approximately 40 students, working directly onsite within a diverse learning community.
Key Qualifications:
- Colorado Department of Education ‘Professional Special Services License’ (required)
- Strong background supporting K-5 students as a School Psychologist
- Keen interview skills and an ability to articulate experience and methodologies
- Energetic, positive, and engaging personality to foster connections with students and staff
- Open to both local and traveling candidates—travelers must have applied for Colorado licensure and are encouraged to research the area, consider housing options, and plan travel in advance
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions to support student success
- Develop strategies and programs tailored to individual student needs, collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and families
- Consult with teachers to advance classroom management techniques and positive learning environments
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide actionable, student-centered recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards within school psychology
