Vascular Surgeon - UPMC Altoona, PA- Visa Sponsorship- Sign on Bonus

Our organization is seeking a BC/BE, fellowship-trained vascular surgeon to join our team and deliver comprehensive vascular surgical services, including both open and endovascular techniques, carotid endarterectomy, AV fistula grafts, and extremity bypass surgery. The Vascular Surgery Practice is situated on the hospital campus, providing convenient access to a 12-operating room suite, an interventional/endovascular procedure room, and a 6-operating room ambulatory surgery center. Our vascular surgeons are integral members of the Heart and Vascular Institute, which currently comprises one vascular surgeon, one cardio-thoracic surgeon, and five cardiologists.

The hospital is a 400-bed tertiary care facility that caters to a primary service area of over 350,000 residents across six counties in central Pennsylvania. It operates as a level 3 trauma center and is equipped as a thrombectomy-capable interventional stroke center, serving an 18-county region extending from New York to Maryland. Our institution specializes in vascular surgery, cardiac surgery, and interventional cardiology (including TAVR and Watchman procedures), and also functions as a regional cancer center. The medical staff includes over 320 active physicians across primary care and various specialties.
