Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A unique opportunity is available for a pharmacist to serve as the sole pharmacist in a specialized retail HIV/AIDS pharmacy setting. This contract role begins with a two-week training period alongside the current Pharmacy in Charge (PIC), followed by 14 weeks of independent practice. The position requires managing medication dispensing without the support of a pharmacy technician, handling approximately 20-30 prescriptions daily.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense HIV/AIDS medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide high-quality patient care with a strong focus on communication and support.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with healthcare providers.
  • Manage all pharmacy operations independently, ensuring compliance and safety.
  • Participate in ongoing training and utilize provided resources to enhance pharmacy services.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Florida pharmacist license.
  • Minimum of one year retail pharmacy experience.
  • Specific experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing, clearly detailed on the resume.
  • Proficient or experienced with QS1 pharmacy software preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to reliability, punctuality, and a positive work attitude.

Important Notes:

  • This is a single-pharmacist site with no pharmacy technician support.
  • No release time off (RTO) is permitted during the contract duration.
  • Candidates must be prepared to work independently and handle the daily workload confidently.
