Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Florida SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Prior experience working with school-age children and IEP processes is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Genuine commitment to student growth and collaboration with educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ educational goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide training and resources to staff and families on supporting effective communication strategies
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs across grade levels
