What you’ll do:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse K-12 student population in alignment with IEP goals.
  • Assess, diagnose, and design intervention plans for students with speech, language, or communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to facilitate student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and clear communication regarding students’ speech and language needs.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and school guidelines.
  • Offer support and training to staff and families on communication strategies and interventions.
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet a range of learning styles and developmental needs within the school setting.

Your credentials:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Valid state licensure as required for school-based SLP services.
  • Previous experience in a school environment highly preferred.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
