Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, on-site contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in students’ communication skills while collaborating with educators and families. You’ll primarily serve a single school location, working with a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, guiding them toward confident expression and social success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active Texas Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license required.
  • Experience providing speech/language therapy support to school-aged children (K-12).
  • Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English highly preferred.
  • Completion or verification of fingerprinting with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) is mandatory; processing may take up to 10 business days.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create a positive rapport with students and staff.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, following IEP goals.
  • Support students’ development in articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Assist in developing therapy materials and adapt activities to individual student needs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, teacher consultations, and family communication.
  • Foster an inclusive, encouraging environment for all learners.
