Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Vermont Occupational Therapy (OT) Certificate required
  • Previous experience in school-based OT or related pediatric settings preferred
  • Comfortable working with students from Kindergarten through grade 12
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

Role Overview:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students across several schools within the district, ensuring each student’s unique needs come first
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans in partnership with teachers, special educators, and families
  • Provide both direct treatment and consultative services to staff
  • Complete timely evaluations, maintain student records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Facilitate skills development to promote participation and success within the school environment
  • Adapt interventions for varied age groups within a flexible, multi-site schedule
