Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialty compounding pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to support the acquisition of an NRL pharmacy permit in Illinois and Massachusetts. This contract opportunity requires a licensed pharmacist willing to serve as the PIC and comply with state licensing regulations essential for the permit approval process. The role is ideal for a pharmacist interested in a focused pharmacy environment with flexible location options based on licensure.

Location & Schedule:

  • Dublin, OH onsite, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Available for 13 weeks
  • Hours vary by license and location:
    • CA, IL, or MA license holders: 30 hours/week (California specialty pharmacy site)
    • MA or OH license holders: 30 hours/week (Dublin, OH site)
    • OH or IL license holders: 8 hours/week (Dublin, OH site)

Qualifications:

  • Current pharmacist license in at least one of the following states: CA, IL, MA, or OH
  • Willingness to have your license held in the PIC capacity
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacist in Charge preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of specialty compounding pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge in compliance with state regulations
  • Maintain oversight of pharmacy operations to support NRL permit acquisition
  • Coordinate with pharmacy staff and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance
  • Provide guidance and leadership as the designated PIC for the specialty compounding pharmacy
