Radiation Oncologist Opportunity in Central Pennsylvania

Our organization is expanding and is on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible radiation oncologist to become part of a well-established program at our cancer center located in York, Pennsylvania.

The Central Pennsylvania division comprises four radiation facilities that are part of our NCI-designated cancer center. Our radiation oncology department is supported by a team of nine full-time radiation oncologists and three per-diem specialists. We utilize advanced technology, including Varian TrueBeam with AlignRT, Trilogy, Halcyon, and Edge machines, along with Aria/Eclipse software. Our services encompass IMRT/VMAT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and HDR brachytherapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bring a robust clinical background in radiation oncology.
  • Engage in a dynamic multi-disciplinary practice, contributing to clinical research and educational initiatives in collaboration with our cancer center.
  • Work alongside a well-established Medical Oncology program, as well as surgical oncology programs focusing on breast, thoracic, colorectal, head and neck, GYN, and GU cancers.
  • Benefit from strong support from physics, dosimetry, nursing, and radiation therapy teams.
  • Access various ancillary services, including genetic counseling, oncology-specific rehabilitation and physical therapy, survivorship programs, integrative oncology, dietitian services, social work, and financial counseling.

Qualifications
  • Must hold an MD degree or equivalent.
  • Board certified or board eligible in radiation oncology.
  • Eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania.
  • Preferred experience of three to five years in practice; however, recent graduates from radiation oncology residency and fellowship programs will also be considered.
