Occupational Therapist School Setting - Putney, VT

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a district-wide Occupational Therapist, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade across four school buildings. In this full-time position—spanning 35 to 37.5 hours per week from August 26, 2026, through June 14, 2027—you'll partner with educators, administrators, and families to nurture student skills and engagement throughout the school year.

What you'll bring:

• A valid Vermont Occupational Therapy Certificate
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy, preferably working with K-12 populations
• Strong assessment and documentation abilities
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services district-wide, traveling between four buildings
• Evaluate students’ needs and develop individualized plans to enhance academic participation
• Consult with teachers and families, ensuring therapy aligns with IEPs and school goals
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and intervention outcomes
• Participate in meetings and professional development as required by the district
