Physician - Psychiatrist

Job Opportunity: Full-Time Psychiatrist

Our organization is currently looking for a dedicated Physician - Psychiatrist to join our team in Fort Smith, AR. The ideal candidate will be Board Eligible or Certified in Psychiatry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations, as well as manage medication for veterans experiencing various mental health issues, including but not limited to:
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Substance abuse
  • Mood disorders
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Psychosis
  • Other related conditions
• Provide education to hospital staff regarding the psychiatric needs of patients, including handling techniques and expectations.
• Collaborate with the families of patients receiving psychiatric care.

Requirements:

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of residency training leading to board eligibility or certification.
• Possession of an active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state.

Working Conditions:

The daily schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, with the possibility of nights, weekends, and on-call duties. Specific scheduling details will be discussed during the interview process.

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting base salary for this position ranges from $275,000 to $300,000. Our organization offers an outstanding benefits package for physicians, which includes:
