Retail Pharmacist | Bushkill, Pennsylvania

An established retail pharmacy in Dingmans Ferry, PA is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to join their team as a direct hire. This role offers a dynamic schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts, averaging 69 hours biweekly, with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster collaborative relationships with store operations and pharmacy associates to drive engagement and communicate strategic goals.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in all prescription dispensing through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Quality Assurance measures.
• Manage the pharmacy department by promoting script growth via clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Collaborate with district management to control inventory, forecast demand, and maximize profitability.
• Set and monitor performance objectives aligned with key departmental metrics to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Deliver excellent customer service through healthcare counseling and effective resolution of customer inquiries.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, providing training, coaching, and disciplinary guidance as needed.
• Maintain the security and organization of the pharmacy environment.
• Engage with physicians and utilize resources to clarify prescription information or resolve issues.
• Oversee department maintenance tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
