Desired experience and qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings is highly preferred
• Familiarity with classroom routines and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and staff
• Flexibility, patience, and adaptability in diverse and fast-paced environments
• Ability to provide academic, behavioral, and emotional support to students
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or relevant certifications are a plus
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding school policies

Key responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in daily instructional activities and lesson delivery
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional assistance
• Implement behavioral management strategies under teacher supervision
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere
• Support students with special needs according to their IEPs, encouraging independence
• Help supervise students in various settings such as the classroom, playground, and during transitions
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate observations to the teaching team
