You'll have the flexibility to pick up shifts as they become available through a user-friendly scheduling app, with opportunities to work across elementary, middle, and high schools. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Substitute Certificate (SUB cert) on DESE (must be active prior to your first day; applicants in process welcome)
- Prior experience in school settings, particularly with students exhibiting behavioral needs and working with behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Comfort assisting with toileting and supporting students with various needs
- Ability to adapt to a range of classroom environments and maintain professionalism
- Flexibility to accept same-day or short-notice assignments through an app-based system
- Must complete required fingerprint background check specific to the district
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-class or 1:1 support to students with diverse abilities, including those with behavior plans
- Implement daily activities as directed by teachers and support staff
- Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Uphold district policies and confidentiality requirements
