\nWHAT WE'RE DOING
\nLockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is looking for Software professionals to work on Cross-Domain Solution (CDS) products that protect and defend the information flow of critical and time sensitive data on many military application and networks.
\nWHO WE ARE
\nAt Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), you will ensure cyber security standards are met and implemented.

\nThe candidate will be working in an agile development environment on RedHat Linux-based OS, and will be responsible for supporting elements of the design/sustainment/development efforts. The candidate should be a well-rounded software developer with experience in an object oriented language, such as C++, C# and Java. The candidate should be a self-starter that is attentive to details and works well in a team.
\nTHE WORK
\nDuties to include software design and development in a Java/C++/C# SELinux environment, SELinux Policy creation, maintenance and debugging, message parser development, XML schema development, network protocol integration, shell scripting development, and software test.
\nAdditionally, the proven ability to provide software engineering is required. Flexibility and agility to changing requirements and programming languages, and a desire to learn and experience new opportunities to improve team performance is a must.
\nApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
\nJoin the team to help become “Raise the Bar” compliant. This compliance will involve the implementation of new stream and file pipelines for many different protocols including video.
\nThis team promotes the Agile Methodologies, where it has 4 3-month increments per year. Each increment has 4 3-week sprints. A typical sprint will include planning, retrospectives, demos to stakeholders, development and test stories, and finally selloffs to track progress to a product owner. Each team will consist of a Scrum Master and 4-7 developers and testers. The development teams works within the Deer Creek facility and at times can work remote.
\nIn addition as a developer for TMAN if you will have opportunities to volunteer support to the end customers by travelling to site and performing installations or trainings of the cross domain solution.
\nThe individual selected for this team will need to have a high level of self and team motivation. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter and a strong problem solver. They will also need to have a deep understanding of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
\nMany digital transformation techniques are used to facilitate development on the problem include Jenkins, Atlassian Suite of Tools, automated testing through software integration tests (SWIT), CPPUnit, JUnits with JMockit, and Eggplant.
\nThis position will involve software development using Java / C++/C# and some bsh/python 80% of the time with a team that collaborates between each other hourly. SELInux policies are also important to TMAN as we are required to run our software with SELinux enabled. The Cross domain solution also requires strong linux and networking knowledge.

\nAbility to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
\nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
\nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
\nPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $76,500 - $134,895. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

\n(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
\nThis position is incentive plan eligible.
