Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant! This contract position is ready for an immediate start and will extend through the end of May 2027. With a full-time work week of 35 hours, you'll focus on helping K-12 students achieve communication success—a caseload that will be tailored to your strengths during the interview process.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
  • Active SLPA credentials/license, or eligibility, as per state guidelines
  • Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in K-12 educational settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
  • Flexibility to adapt to a variety of student needs and a dynamic school environment
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language interventions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress
  • Support classroom teachers in strategies for supporting students’ communication needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute input regarding student progress and planning
  • Maintain accurate records and data collection as required by the school and supervising SLP
  • Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment for students of various backgrounds and ability levels
