A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed tojoin our team in a school-based setting in Colorado Springs, CO. In thisrewarding role, you’ll provide essential speech, language, and communicationsupport to students from Pre-K through 12th grade, helping them succeedacademically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment goals
- Provide direct therapy services (individual and group sessions) in areas including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic/social communication
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and RTI processes
- Supervise SLP Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellows (CFs) if applicable
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
- Current Colorado state license in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply!)
- Experience working in a school setting is highly preferred
