Two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for maternity leave coverage in the East Lansing area, with placements in Stockbridge and Dansville. This contract position runs from December 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027—offering both a full-time role in Stockbridge and a part-time opening in Dansville for those looking to make a meaningful difference.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering speech services within a school or similar environment, preferably with early childhood students
  • Confidence working independently to address diverse speech and language needs
  • Strong collaboration skills to partner effectively with educators and families
  • Please note: SLPAs and VOCO applicants are not eligible for this role

In this role, responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for early learners with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Delivering engaging, evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs
  • Documenting progress and maintaining required records in accordance with state and district guidelines
  • Participating in IEP meetings and working closely with classroom teams to ensure student progress and inclusion
  • Providing support and resources to families to enhance communication outcomes at home
