We are seeking an experienced Director of Integration & Security (I&S) to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for low-voltage, information/security, and physical security infrastructure projects across multiple locations.
The Director of I&S will oversee managers, field teams, and project execution while ensuring projects meet company standards, financial objectives, and customer expectations. This position will play a key role in scaling operations, developing technical talent, and maintaining consistent quality across integration and security initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and operational management for I&S projects.
Oversee low-voltage, structured cabling, integration, and physical security projects across multiple locations.
Lead and support managers, field teams, and technical personnel.
Ensure projects are delivered efficiently while meeting quality, schedule, and customer expectations.
Manage and coordinate multi-site infrastructure projects.
Work closely with customers and internal leadership to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
Support the growth and development of the I&S team.
Maintain consistent operational and technical standards across projects.
Assist with project planning, resource allocation, and execution.
Ensure effective integration of low-voltage and physical security systems.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in:
Computer Science
Computer Engineering
Information Systems
Or equivalent professional experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience in:
Telecom
Low-voltage systems
Structured cabling
Related infrastructure environments
Minimum 2-3+ years of management or senior leadership experience.

Demonstrated experience with:
Copper cabling systems
Fiber-optic cabling systems
Camera/video surveillance platforms
Access control systems
Multi-site low-voltage infrastructure projects
Integration and physical security
Low-Voltage License - Highly Preferred
Experience leading field and technical teams.
Experience managing multiple projects and locations.
Strong understanding of physical security and technology integration.
Experience in telecom, structured cabling, or low-voltage contracting environments.
Strong leadership and team-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Strong customer relationship management skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work effectively with both field personnel and senior leadership.
Strong understanding of low-voltage and physical security integration.
In-person position based in Charlotte, NC.
Willingness to travel up to 50% is preferred.
Travel may be required to customer locations and project sites across multiple states.
This role may require working directly with field teams and customers at project locations.

The ideal candidate is a senior low-voltage/integration professional who has progressed into management or leadership, with hands-on knowledge of structured cabling, fiber/copper systems, CCTV/video surveillance, access control, and physical security. The candidate should be comfortable managing field teams, coordinating multi-site projects, interacting with customers, and driving successful project execution.
