\ngroundbreaking projects. Be a part of the
\nLockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Artificial Intelligence (AI) team working with the Advanced Development Team on the
\nIntegrated Common Processor (ICP) program.
\nThe ICP program provides a common
\nIntegrated Undersea Surveillance Systems
\n(IUSS) signal processing and display system
\nsoftware and hardware suite for the US Navy.
\nWork with our team as we develop cutting
\nedge tools for our Navy customer through the integration of Artificial Intelligence and
\nMachine Learning capabilities into tactical
\nsystems.
\nIn this position you will be responsible for:
\n- \n
- Software development and debugging of an MLOps workflow integrated into a tactical system both in the lab and at customer sites \n
- Dataset curation, labeling, and training AI/ML models \n
- Validating and analyzing AI/ML algorithm results, iteratively improving results \n
- Generating data sets for use by the team in \n
system testing and algorithm development

- Traveling to the tactical site to exercise the ML lifecycle (up to 25% of the time) \n

\nBasic Qualifications
\n- \n
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree is Software Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related STEM degree \n
- Experience in Software development, integration, and test \n
- Familiarity with Linux \n
- Active security clearance and willing to work onsite with our team in Manassas, VA in our advanced development lab \n
Desired Skills
\n- \n
- Experience with AI/ML disciplines, domain programming languages (e.g. Python, C++, Linux), models, frameworks, and toolsets \n
- DevOps experience including CI/CD pipelines to build, test, deploy \n
- Experience with Acoustic Displays – reading Sonar GRAMS \n
- Experience with IUSS \n
- Experience with C/C++, CUDA, NVIDIA libraries, cloud, containers & modern AI tools, or have implemented AI inferencing streaming (e.g. Triton, kserve, etc.) \n
- Experience with production ML and High Performance Compute development systems \n
- Strong problem solving mindset: ability to develop create solutions to difficult problems often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, ambiguous or incomplete data on a fast-paced schedule \n
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex design information, technical decision and issues to both highly technical and non-technical peers \n
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across organizations, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics – not afraid to challenge the existing approach to solutions \n
- Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment \n

\nAbility to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
\nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
\nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
