Job Description

Registered Dietitian

Location: Sandy Springs, Georgia

About Us: Our organization operates a residential treatment program in Sandy Springs, GA, dedicated to adolescents seeking help for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction.

At our facility, we assist adolescents and their families on their journey to complete recovery. We equip each young person with the tools to face life's challenges without the burden of an eating disorder. Our approach emphasizes empathy, education, and family involvement, ensuring that families are integral partners in the recovery journey. We guide each adolescent in replacing disordered eating habits with healthy skills and a profound understanding of their unique identities.

Position Overview: We are looking for a Registered Dietitian to become a vital part of our clinical and leadership teams. This role involves regular collaboration with various disciplines to ensure the highest quality of care for our clients.

Our nutrition programming is built on foundational principles that promote health, freedom from disordered eating behaviors, and a developmentally appropriate journey towards self-trust and intuitive eating. With this robust framework, our clients progress from repairing their relationship with food to embracing a fulfilling, recovered life.

Our HAES-informed nutritional care includes:

  • Understanding that healthy individuals come in diverse shapes and sizes.
  • Believing that every body deserves nourishment and the experience of satiety.
  • Focusing on behaviors rather than weight.
  • Recognizing that weight loss efforts are counterproductive to recovery from all eating disorders.
  • Creating kitchens and food environments that are open and welcoming, resembling a home-like atmosphere.

Schedule: Full-time position, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Benefits: Join us for a fulfilling career and take advantage of a comprehensive benefits package! We prioritize your well-being and success by offering:

  • Competitive salary
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement plan
  • Company-paid life insurance, AD&D, and short-term disability
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
  • Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Paid time off
  • Opportunities for professional development
  • And much more!

We are dedicated to fostering a diverse workplace and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified candidates will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all nutritional services comply with established standards and regulations.
