Responsibilities

Key Duties:

• The staff nurse delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, from infancy to the end of life.
• Utilizes nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively.
• Operates within the organization's established policies and procedures, showcasing professional development and accountability.
• Ensures adherence to practice standards while coordinating care activities among all assigned staff to guarantee high-quality nursing services.

Qualifications

Minimum Educational Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.

Minimum Experience Required:

• A minimum of one year of telemetry experience, with the capability to interpret EKG strips.

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

• Possession of a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or a valid NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is mandatory.

Additional Qualifications:

• For PRN roles: Preference for candidates with at least one year of nursing experience in a hospital environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area is advantageous (refer to addendum).
• Prior nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
