As a full-time Physical Therapist, you’ll provide vital support to learners across a diverse caseload, with a unique blend of testing and itinerant services (50/50 split). Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and active Physical Therapist license issued by the state of Massachusetts
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based therapy settings, ideally with K-12 populations
  • Strong ability to adapt therapy practices to varied student needs and educational goals
  • Demonstrated record of conducting assessments and implementing individualized treatment
  • Bilingual Spanish skills preferred for enhanced communication with students and families
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort traveling between sites if needed
  • Excellent collaboration abilities with educators, families, and student support teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ motor and functional skills to support academic participation
  • Design and deliver individualized and group physical therapy interventions in alignment with IEPs
  • Split time between direct itinerant service delivery and formal student testing
  • Collaborate with other professionals and families to optimize care and promote student independence
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and therapeutic planning for students across the K-12 age range
  • Support a positive, inclusive environment for learners from diverse backgrounds
