Pediatric Inpatient Pharmacist in Pompano Beach, FL

This opportunity is seeking two inpatient pharmacists with expertise in hospital inpatient and pediatric pharmacy for a 13-week contract position in Pompano Beach, FL. Located conveniently between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, this role supports a well-regarded children’s hospital providing specialized pediatric care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage inpatient pharmacy duties with a focus on pediatric medication dosing
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for medication management and documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective pharmacotherapy for pediatric patients, including NICU cases
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts to maintain continuous pharmacy coverage

Shift Options:

• Day Shift: 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, rotating weekends (five 8-hour shifts per week)
• Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:15 AM, rotating weekends (five 8-hour shifts per week)

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Florida pharmacist license in good standing
• Proven inpatient pharmacy experience, highly preferred background in pediatrics and NICU
• Experience with pediatric dosing protocols and hospital inpatient pharmacy operations
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
