Job Description
Step into a dynamic, rewarding opportunity supporting student growth as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a vibrant school-based setting near Richmond, TX. This contract role begins August 11, 2026, and continues through May 26, 2027, offering the chance to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive educational team. Full-time hours (37.5 per week) are available, with consideration for part-time options (approximately 30 hours weekly). Your primary assignment will be at one secondary school, with occasional support at a nearby campus possible.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license in Texas
- Previous experience in K-12 schools preferred
- Ability to manage a secondary-age caseload averaging 80 students
- Completion of all required Texas fingerprinting and background checks
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to work on-site and float to a second campus if needed
- Must disclose prior employment with the district, and whether you have ever been terminated from any school district (relevant for affidavit completion)
Role Highlights:
