School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Elk River, Minnesota

Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an impactful contract position supporting students’ communication and academic growth. We are seeking a full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a dynamic school environment for the upcoming academic year. This opportunity is open to both Clinical Fellows (CFs) and experienced SLPs.

You'll work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from late August through early June, aligning with the academic calendar. This role involves collaborating with students, teachers, and families to provide high-quality speech and language services.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current Minnesota SLP license required (submit PDF with application)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; open to CFs
• Strong knowledge of school-based SLP practices and caseload management
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Experience in educational settings is desirable

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapeutic interventions to students with speech and language needs
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Track progress and document services in accordance with district policies
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and professional development
• Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for diverse learners
