Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Recent experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress
- Attend meetings, participate in professional development, and support district-wide initiatives
