Beginning as soon as possible and continuing through May 27, 2027, this full-time opportunity is tailored for licensed professionals eager to make a measurable impact on students’ academic and social development.
This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with 35 hours each week, following the school calendar. Assignment to schools and caseload details will be communicated upon hire.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active Louisiana DOE Certification as a School Psychologist (required)
- Ability to complete district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting, plus agency credentialing protocols
- Demonstrated experience with school-aged children (K-12)
- Strong report-writing, assessment, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Your Daily Focus:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and write actionable reports
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop appropriate interventions
- Participate actively in IEP/eligibility meetings and support multi-tiered systems of support
- Offer guidance on behavioral supports, crisis intervention, and risk assessments
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing school psychology practices
