Description
Technicians will install, support, and maintain commercial security technologies including:
CCTV and IP Camera Systems
Access Control Systems
Card Readers and Badge Readers
Door Contacts and Sensors
Magnetic Locks
Electric Strikes
Push-to-Exit Devices
Associated Low-Voltage Cabling Infrastructure
Daily responsibilities may include:
Installing cameras and security devices
Pulling and routing low-voltage cabling
Installing access control equipment
Installing and wiring door hardware
Terminating cabling and security devices
Reading project drawings and device layouts
Troubleshooting low-voltage systems
Maintaining quality and safety standards
Supporting project completion schedules
Candidates with strong structured cabling experience who have assisted with or installed security devices are encouraged to apply.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required
-1+ year of low-voltage, structured cabling, or security installation experience
-Some hands-on camera and/or access control experience
-Ability to use basic hand and power tools
-Reliable transportation
-Strong attendance and reliability
-Ability to work on ladders and lifts
-Ability to work in commercial construction environments
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
-Professional communication skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
-Experience installing cameras and access control systems
-Experience with door hardware, mag locks, strikes, and readers
-Experience in commercial construction environments
-OSHA certification
-BICSI certification
-Experience troubleshooting low-voltage systems

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Hill, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
