Qualifications/Experience Desired:

  • Active and unrestricted Connecticut Occupational Therapy license (required)
  • Prior experience delivering OT services within a school environment
  • Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the district
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
  • Adaptability to meet diverse student needs across various grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs and educational goals
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings
  • Consult with teachers and other educational staff to ensure coordinated support
  • Support functional skill development and promote student independence
