Qualifications/Experience Desired:
- Active and unrestricted Connecticut Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Prior experience delivering OT services within a school environment
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the district
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
- Adaptability to meet diverse student needs across various grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs and educational goals
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings
- Consult with teachers and other educational staff to ensure coordinated support
- Support functional skill development and promote student independence
