Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-12 setting
• Familiarity with homebound or one-on-one educational and therapeutic services is highly desirable
• Ability to design and adapt intervention plans for individual learning and developmental needs
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service providers
• Strong organizational skills and a compassionate approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct OT services to a 6th-grade homebound student in accordance with the individualized education plan (IEP)
• Assess, evaluate, and document student progress and therapy outcomes
• Design creative, engaging activities and modifications to foster independence and participation in daily routines
• Consult regularly with family and school staff to ensure consistency of care and support a collaborative approach
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
