IU Health Medical Group has an employment opportunity for a BC/BE PRN Nocturnist at IU Health Medical Group at Arnett Hospital located in Lafayette, Indiana.
\nEmployment opportunity details:
\n- \n
- Schedule: one week on and two weeks off, approx. 17.3 work weeks annually. \n
- The rotation in scheduled hours every worked week between the three shifts: \n
- (12p - 12a) Admitting shift, \n
- (4p - 4a) Admitting shift, \n
- (7p - 7a) Cross cover, in coordination with a rounding APP. \n
- 10-14 admits per shift. \n
- Scribe assistance during admitting shifts. \n
- Working with family medicine residents overnight \n
- Hospitalist team totals 30 Physicians. \n
- 9 Advance Practice Providers \n
- Acute care with abundant subspeciality consults, suburban setting, adult population, closed ICU, provide telehealth coverage for IU White and Frankfort Hospital. \n
- Respond to all codes and RRTs. Experience with procedures and intubations highly preferred. \n
- Collegial medical staff \n
- Opportunity to work with medical students from IU School of Medicine West Lafayette Campus. \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Residency training in Internal Medicine \n
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine \n
- Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana \n
