Assistant Maintenance (Non-Certified)

Now Hiring: Certified Maintenance Technician – Prosper, TX 75078

Pay: $22/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Opportunity Type: Contract-to-Hire

BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Certified Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Prosper, TX. The property is specifically looking for someone interested in joining its team permanently if the assignment is a good fit.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC and air-conditioning systems
• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally
• Perform plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs
• Assist with apartment turns and make-ready preparation
• Respond to resident maintenance concerns professionally
• Maintain accurate records of completed work
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
• Participate in the on-call rotation once hired permanently

Requirements

• Current EPA/HVAC certification required
• Strong HVAC and air-conditioning repair experience
• Previous apartment maintenance experience required
• Must be able and willing to participate in on-call duties once permanently hired
• English communication skills required
• Must have standard maintenance tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Dependable, professional, and interested in a permanent opportunity
