Responsibilities

KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Utilizing the resonant frequency characteristics of atoms in a magnetic field to create images of anatomical and physiological conditions, aiding physicians in diagnosing diseases.
• Conducting diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in compliance with established standards under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Providing patient care across all age groups, including neonates, children, adults, and the elderly.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or a JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
No prior experience necessary; however, 6 months as an MRI Technologist is preferred.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Current BLS certification is required.
