Job Description

HCA Florida West Hospital is seeking ABEM board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine physicians to join a well-established EM program serving both a main hospital emergency department and multiple affiliated freestanding EDs in the Pensacola, Florida, area.

\n Physicians will be expected to participate in teaching, with additional compensation provided. Medical students rotate through the department from Florida State University.

  • 1.6 to 2.0 patients/hour

  • Physician coverage: 48 hours/day
    • \n
  • APC coverage: 64 hours/day
    • \n
  • 8 to 9 hour shifts (days and nights)

  • EMR: Meditech Expanse
    • \n
  • Bedside ultrasound available

  • Non-trauma center
    • \n
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS
