Here, two distinct environments await. At Hermansen Elementary, you'll work in a STLR (Structured Teaching and Learning Rooms) self-contained program, supporting students with Autism and Functional Communication needs. Caseloads are manageable, capped at 10-13 students. Martinez Middle School offers a co-teaching role in Supported Education, focusing on collaborative approaches with a maximum of 13 students per caseload. Both roles offer the satisfaction of directly impacting student growth in close-knit and supportive teams.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching credential.
  • Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Functional Communication needs (preferred).
  • Previous self-contained or co-teaching experience is an asset.
