Make a difference in the lives of secondary students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) providing essential support on-site at a dynamic school community. This contract role begins August 11, 2026, and runs through May 26, 2027, offering full-time hours (37.5 per week) and the flexibility to consider part-time schedules around 30 hours. You’ll primarily serve one campus near Rosenberg, TX, with the possibility of assisting at a second location if needed. Average caseload is approximately 80 secondary students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA license in the state required
  • Previous experience working in school settings at the secondary level is highly desirable
  • Must be able to successfully complete state fingerprinting and background check
  • Ability to manage a sizeable caseload with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Professionalism in collaborating with educational teams
  • Open to both seasoned professionals and motivated new graduates
  • If you have previously worked for a school district, please share your experience—candidates are also asked to complete an affidavit regarding prior terminations from any district position.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support speech-language therapy services for secondary students under SLP supervision
  • Carry out individualized education program (IEP) goals and track student progress
  • Prepare therapy materials, assist with documentation, and help coordinate schedules
  • Collaborate with staff and participate in relevant meetings
  • Adapt services based on student needs and assigned locations
