Looking for an engaging opportunity as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational environment? A contract role is available for a skilled mental health professional at a school setting near Lexington, SC. The position is full-time (37.5 hours weekly) and runs from August 6, 2026, to May 27, 2027. You’ll work onsite, collaborating with educators, families, and students to foster academic, social, and emotional success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification in School Psychology
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Experience in K–12 school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Commitment to creating safe and supportive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and intervention for students
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs and strategies for support
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Assist with crisis intervention and prevention programs
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with ethical and legal standards
