Our organization, located in Erie, Pennsylvania, is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pain Management Physician to enhance our expanding interventional pain medicine team. This position provides an opportunity to significantly impact patient care while working within a prestigious academic health system associated with the University of Pittsburgh. Our specialists collaborate closely with the primary care network to implement effective pain management strategies. The physician will operate within a multispecialty clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities: The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and managing a variety of chronic pain conditions.
Work Schedule: Duties include conducting outpatient consultations and performing procedures at the surgical center, with necessary travel to regional clinics.
Procedures: The position is set in a multidisciplinary environment that provides a comprehensive range of pain management treatments, such as:
- Caudal nerve blocks
- Epidurals (cervical, thoracic, and lumbar)
- Facet joint injections
- Genicular nerve block and ablation
- Intercostal nerve blocks
- Medial branch blocks
- Multimodal pain management
- Occipital nerve blocks
- Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy
- Prolotherapy
- Radiofrequency ablation
- Regenerative injection therapy
- Shoulder, knee, and hip injections
- Sympathetic blocks
- Trigeminal nerve blocks
- Trigger point injections
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited medical institution
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified and have completed an ACGME Accredited Pain Medicine Fellowship
- Eligibility to secure an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and necessary credentials
- DEA certification
